Real-world inspiration analysis

Vice-Dale County is a rendition of Miami-Dade County, Florida. The "Dale" part of the name might be inspired by the Cuban slang term "¡Dale!" (pronounced DAH-le), which is commonly used in the Miami-Dade area, most famously by Cuban-American rapper Pitbull. Another possibility is that it comes from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a city in Broward County located about ten miles north of Miami-Dade.
