The rules we work by
How this site verifies
Leonida Companion exists because GTA 6 coverage is drowning in rumor presented as fact. Our one rule: every claim carries its source, and nothing unverified wears a confirmed label. This page is the contract.
The three badges
Every news post and every fact-bearing claim on this site is graded:
- official — straight from Rockstar Games, Take-Two, or their official store listings. Linked to the primary source, always.
- report — a credible outlet's claim, attributed by name, that has not been officially confirmed. We say who reported it and what part is theirs.
- analysis — our own read: trailer-frame study, pattern arguments, estimates. Labeled in the text itself, never dressed up as news.
Anything that can't clear one of those bars doesn't get published. There is no fourth badge for "everyone's saying it."
Sourcing, in practice
- News posts carry a visible source link on every item — and the same source in the page's structured data.
- Location and trailer claims cite the exact shot — see theTrailer 1 and Trailer 2 hubs.
- Leak-derived material (the wiki-documented 2022 leak and similar) isflagged as leaked wherever it appears — in thelocations database, on vehicles, everywhere. Labeled, never laundered into "confirmed."
- Wiki-sourced summaries are used under CC-BY-SA with credit — seeattribution.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, the page gets fixed and the correction is stated on the page — not silently swapped. If an official announcement supersedes an older post, the old post stays badged as what it was, and the news feed carries the update. Spotted an error? Tell us on any of the social channels in the footer.
Independence & money

The site is supported by advertising, affiliate links (marked, with disclosures on thedeals page), and reader support. None of it buys a badge: sponsors don't see coverage before you do, and nothing on the editorial side is paid placement.
