GTA 6 Trailer 2, broken down
Where Trailer 1 announced a place, Trailer 2 announced a relationship: Jason and Lucia operating as a pair — same hideout, same robberies, same trouble. It also more than doubled the confirmed geography. Every location below carries the frame reference our map pins cite.
Official Rockstar Games video · plays here via YouTubeWhat Trailer 2 confirmed official
- Jason, fully introduced — and the dual-protagonist framing: a score gone wrong, a conspiracy across Leonida. How the two-lead setup works →
- The Keys as a story home base — the hideout that opens the trailer anchors the pair outside Vice City.
- Named places at street level — hotels, a bank, a marina, a hangar: the world gained addresses, not just skylines.
- Geographic consistency — Trailer 1 locations recur exactly where they should, which is why a community-consensus map is possible at all.

The bigger read
Trailer 2's real reveal was tonal: quieter beats (the marina, the hideout) sitting beside the set pieces, and a camera that keeps finding Jason and Lucia in the same frame. Rockstar is selling a relationship drama wearing a heist movie — which is exactly what the character material has said since. Still unshown after two trailers: real gameplay — the thingTrailer 3 is now under maximum pressure to deliver.
The reveal: Vice City, Leonida, and Lucia's debut.
