Real-world inspiration analysis

Leonard County appears to be inspired by Broward County, Florida, due to the similarities in naming, as well as liveries for Leonard County Sheriff police cars being nearly identical to the liveries used by the Broward County Sheriff's Office. The name seems to be derived from Napoleon B. Broward, a former governor of Florida for whom Broward County was named.
